Hey everyone! It's nice to meet you. I'm excited to be joining The Problem With Dating team. I'm a newly 30-year-old woman, and have been single for the past 8 years. I have dated during that time, but mostly only guys who didn't "want a girlfriend."
(They are all happily in relationships now, might I add.)
I have a tendency to fall for guys who are emotionally unavailable, or physically unavailable; living all the way across the country from me.
Am I a commitment-phobe? Possibly. I don't have any trouble falling in love, but I have trouble falling in love with the right person.
I am a Denver native who moved to Southern California four months ago from Houston, and I am interested to see how dating differs across state lines. I look forward to discussing locational dating differences, crazy dating stories, race-related dating issues, and everything else pertaining to the problem that is dating.
I'm excited to get to know all of you. I feel like this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship!
